Pushing Limits – December 7, 2007

Eddie Ytuarte and Leah Gardner will present a program of music by artists with disabilities ranging from Itzhak Perlman to Django Reinhardt and Paul Robeson. Contemporary music and culture would not be the same without the contributions of disabled artists and the varied musical expressions they present because of the nature of their disability. Pushing Limits will offer just a sampling of this broad area of music by disabled musicians–plus listeners are invited to call in and tell us of what musicians they like, or don’t like.
