Marilyn Buck has been imprisoned for more than 25 years and is currently being held in Dublin, California."State of Exile" is a new book of poetry on City Lights Press by exiled Uruguyan writer Cristina Perri Rossi, who left her native country in 1975. Marilyn Buck has translated Ms. Rossi’s "State of Exile" and written and introduction. Africa Today offers copies of "State of Exile", speaking with a representative of the "Friends of Marilyn Buck" and talking with her attorney Jill Soffiyah Elijah, Esq.
