[SPEAKER_00]: Michael Daddy, twenty-nine, who was jailed briefly, claimed he spent two nights in the same unit as Mangione and described details about the suspects' time behind bars, news.com, and report.

[SPEAKER_00]: In a TikTok that racked up more than eighty thousand views before it was pulled, Daddy claimed he and Mangione had it off immediately behind bars. [SPEAKER_00]: Daddy said in the now deleted video, I told him, yo, it's an honor to meet you. [SPEAKER_00]: And he actually seemed touched. [SPEAKER_00]: Said we were the first guys who even knew who he was or cared.

[SPEAKER_00]: Mangione allegedly responded, you two are the first kids that came in here who knew who I was or even cared about it. [SPEAKER_00]: Mangione and Daddy had another pal known as Veeve, and the three formed the unique bond while behind bars. [SPEAKER_00]: They would often share meals together and talk about religion. [SPEAKER_00]: Even claimed he received dash Wednesday ashes with a suspected CEO murderer in March. [SPEAKER_00]: Daddy said in the deleted TikTok, we would just eat.

[SPEAKER_00]: He grab his tray and come sit with us like clockwork. [SPEAKER_00]: Mangione's time behind bars seems to be filled with filth, literally. [SPEAKER_00]: According to Daddy, the suspected killer is a colleague, which means an inmate with an assigned job. [SPEAKER_00]: Mangione's task is to scrub the communal showers. [SPEAKER_00]: Daddy claimed in the deleted clip, he's the guy who cleans the washrooms.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not what you'd expect from someone who allegedly assassinated a CEO, right? [SPEAKER_00]: When Mangione isn't scrubbing the showers, Daddy claimed he spends time jogging laps around the unit and looking for newspapers for mentions of his case. [SPEAKER_00]: The former Selmaic claimed in a deleted comment, he'd have me help look through some to see if there's articles about it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Daddy has been accused of manufacturing more than two dozen untraceable firearms using three deep printers in his currently facing serious charges. [SPEAKER_00]: He was released on two hundred fifty thousand dollars bail and is now awaiting his own trial. [SPEAKER_00]: Mangione shot United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson on a New York City sidewalk as he made his way to a conference in early December.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just days after the horror, Mangione was busted by police in Pennsylvania. [SPEAKER_00]: While he was being questioned, police found the alleged gun used, multiple IDs and a manifesto in his possession. [SPEAKER_00]: According to reports, I note was allegedly found in Manjione's possession at the time he was busted by authorities. [SPEAKER_00]: The note allegedly said, to the feds, I'll keep this short, because I do respect what you do for our country.

[SPEAKER_00]: A few weeks after being captured and charged, the twenty-seven-year-old ended not guilty please. [SPEAKER_00]: Manjoni is due in court in his federal case in December. [SPEAKER_00]: He could be found eligible for the death penalty for using a firearm to murder Thompson.
