[SPEAKER_00]: The Iranian government has condemned the new wave of U.S. [SPEAKER_00]: sanctions targeting more than one hundred fifteen individuals, and it is in vessel's link to its oil and petrochemical sectors. [SPEAKER_00]: Tehran described the move as part of Washington's ongoing hospital policy and an assault on the Iranian people. [SPEAKER_00]: The latest action builds on the United States Maximum Pressure Campaign aimed at ending Tehran's energy segment.

[SPEAKER_00]: The approach, launched during President Donald Trump's administration, attempts to cut off Tehran's oil revenues, which has been consistently denounced by Iranian officials. [SPEAKER_00]: The newly announced sanctions focused on an alleged international shipping network controlled by Muhammad Hussein Shamkhai, the son of a top advisor to Supreme Leader Ali Hamanet.

[SPEAKER_00]: The sanctions name twenty oil companies, five vessel management firms, a whole sailor and dozens of actors across seventeen countries, including the UK, Switzerland, India and the UAE. [SPEAKER_00]: According to U.S. [SPEAKER_00]: authorities, the targeted network funneled billions in oil and petrochemical profits, largely through covert deliveries to China.

[SPEAKER_00]: Officials accused the group of using foreign passports, shell companies and deceptive maritime practices to bypass restrictions. [SPEAKER_00]: Their U.S. [SPEAKER_00]: linked assets have reportedly been frozen, and access to the American financial system block. [SPEAKER_00]: Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson Esmail Bokwai said the move showed clear evidence of the hostility of American decision makers towards the Iranian people.

[SPEAKER_00]: He vowed that the country would not yield a pressure. [SPEAKER_00]: Bokwai also lashed out of the Trump administration, claiming Washington suffers from a chronic addiction to unilateralism and employee's pressure tactics in pursuit of illegitimate goals.
