Chitrapu Narayana Murthy (1909 - 1985) is one of the successful directors in the initial decades of Telugu Talkies. He was famous for directing mythological movies. In his career of 30 years, he directed around 25 movies ( including Tamil) of which more than 90% are mythologies.
