In the words of the great theologian Bill Withers, “We all need somebody to lean on.” It can be very tempting to make ministry into a solo endeavor and not realize the importance of having friends to be with you as you do ministry together. Paul gives a clear example of how ministry can and should be done together with other people. Relationships prove to be an essential element of his missionary work.
