No Space for R2K in the PCA

The Evangel Presbytery (PCA) is proposing Overature 12 to be reviewed by the PCA General Assembly, it is entitled, "Petition Government to End Sex-change Procedures for Minors" and may be found in its entirety at:https://pcaga.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Overture-12-Evangel-Petition-re-Sex-change-procedures.pdf. Recently, R Scott Clark, host of the Heidelblog, posted an article, "Cases Extraordinary, The Spirituality Of The Church, And The Trans Crisis", 30-Mar-23, which may be found here: https://heidelblog.net/2023/03/cases-extraordinary-the-spirituality-of-the-church-and-the-trans-crisis/ in which the author questions whether the grounds of the overature (which he agrees with), meet the criteria of "cases extraordinary" that the Divines had in mind for transmitting a petition to a commonwealth or civil authority.
