Jesus is the “master mentor.” He built His ministry to reach the nations around a dozen men whom He effectively mentored. He built His ministry to last, and so He built it on vital relationships. The genius of Jesus' disciple-making was mentoring. Any leader can train and equip, but it takes an effective kingdom leader to mentor.
