#22: Building It To Last

In this week’s episode, Lee talks with Darryn Scheske who pastors Heartland Church in Fishers, Indiana. Lee and Darryn met when Lee visited Heartland Church to begin the process of starting a Legacy Team at Heartland. Lee says, “Heartland is one of the best led and well run churches in America”. Darryn Scheske is the founding Senior Pastor of Heartland Church, an interdenominational, multiethnic church in Fishers, Indiana. Heartland Church began in the Scheske’s living room in 2001 with 17 people.  Today, it is attended by thousands in greater Indianapolis.  He also serves as Chairman of Converge, a network of over 1,300 churches that helps to plant and strengthen other churches. Darryn and his wife, Loree, have been married for 29 years and have one married son and two daughters.
