Adapted in 2019 from a story of same name, Jackie Perez’s Beachworld tells the story of two members of a spaceship crew marooned on a desert planet. There’s only sand as far as the eye can see, and yet the sand itself seems to hold a certain…allure…yes… After the break we take a look at the source material, which was first published in Weird Tales in 1984 and then again the following year as part of the Skeleton Crew collection.
