Cam Signs With Pats/Yankees Open With Nationals

Free agent quarterback Cam Newton has agreed to a one-year deal with the New England Patriots. The quarterback, who was released by the Carolina Panthers in March, will serve as the replacement for Tom Brady, after his exit following 20 seasons with the Patriots. All-Star outfielder Aaron Judge, who was very limited in spring training due to a right rib fracture and collapsed lung, recently began hitting baseballs off of a tee during workouts at George M. Steinbrenner Field. New York opens the season against the World Series Champion Washington Nationals on July 23rd.
