 Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

 Rich in terms of material wealth, Solomon still lost himself through his own selfish pursuits. But he finished well, and trusted in God to receive his reward in the eternity to come.
