Michael van Himbergen is a sought-after visual effects producer based in northern New Mexico. He was born in Hollywood and raised in Los Angeles. After graduating from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts Film & Video 1980), Michael worked on projects including Spaceballs, Die Hard, Michael Jackson’s Black or White, Stargate, What Dreams May Come, Surrogates and others. He is also the author of the long-awaited novel and screenplay, OVERBLOWN
