James Wallman is a noteworthy trend forecaster and futurist, esteemed journalist, keynote speaker and activist, as well as the author of the groundbreaking book Stuffocation: Why We’ve Had Enough with Stuff and Need Experience More Than Ever, which has been described as the intersection of “The Tipping Point and Freakonomics, but with a huge idea at its heart” by the Sunday Times. James has shared his thoughts and forecasts on NPR, BBC, ABC in Australia, and MSNBC, and his writings have been featured in the New York Times, the Financial Times, Time, The Economist, and Wired. He was formerly editor of leading trend consultancy The Future Laboratory’s forecasting publication, and wrote the futurology column in T3 magazine. Recently, James founded The Future is Here, a think tank for a better world.
