President of the Adult Performance Artists Guild Alana Evans guides us through the train wreck many of us couldn't look away from. Since OnlyFans announced they would ban sexually explicit content, online adult performers are feeling abandoned and worried. This episode was recorded Mon August 23, as of today Aug 25th, OnlyFans has 'suspend' the October 1st deadline for content to be removed from performer's pages, citing assurances from their banking partners. It's a lot to keep up with this, but Alana, an advocate and actress herself, provides insights and action steps for SW's and artists to protect themselves and their work. Even if OF has reversed last week's decision, the fear of losing one's livelihood is not gone.
