For Jay (they/them), being an activist is about more than raising awareness, it’s about helping kids see they are not alone. We talked about neuroscience, how the coaching approach works, what their journey through transitioning was like, being an activist, why visibility matters, intersex people “are superheros”, gender reveal parties are problematic, bathroom bills in state legislatures are bullshit.
