My conversation with Lucy Rowett, CSC and Clinical Sexologist was all about about diet culture, body image, and the overlap that they have with purity culture. A lot of it has to do with this idea of self control or self-loathing, punishing yourself and policing bodies. We also talked about how so many healers who've gotten pulled into conspiracy theories.
