Forbidden Fruits is the fourth "Various Artist" compilation by KataHaifisch. Over a length of 10 songs, 13 artists tell us their musical interpretation about the curse and blessing of being a human on earth. With their work, they create a possibility to make paradise perceptible. They remind us with clubby downtempo sound of the joys and burdens of being able to recognising oneself and ones environment. The Garden of Eden is a symbol of childlike freedom. Everything is allowed, only the fruits from the tree of knowledge are taboo. But through these forbidden fruits, man attained self-knowledge. Recognises the difference between good and evil and becomes fully aware of himself. The exile from the heavenly paradise offers the chance to create heaven on earth. Music is one of the ways to realise this privilege.
