Episode description

Special Counsel Jack Smith was compelled by Department of Justice policy to dismiss the two criminal cases he brought against Donald Trump. Thereafter, Smith delivered his final Special Counsel report to the Attorney General. Accordingly, Smith's work as Special Counsel is complete. However, some people are asking if Smith's resignation from DOJ represents obeying an aspiring dictator in advance, or if his resignation was inevitable and has nothing to do with fear of retaliation by Trump and those he appoints to take over the DOJ. Glenn explains the answer to that question.
