Mark Meadows' Shot in the Dark

Mark Meadows has been indicted in a Georgia state RICO case for being part of a criminal enterprise to overturn the results of the presidential election in Georgia in 2020. Meadows filed a motion to have his prosecution transferred from Georgia state court to federal court, claiming he was acting within the scope of his official duties as Chief of Staff to the President of the United States. Glenn explains why Meadows' motion should be denied. He also discusses a recent case where a prosecution was successfully transferred from a state court to a federal court, and how that case is dramatically different from Meadows' case.
