Today on the podcast we welcome Adeela Carter and Amoye Henry. This dynamic duo are the founders of Pitch Better. Their mission at Pitch Better is to bridge the gap between women-led start-ups and their means of acquiring investment capital and securing grants for their businesses. They are also conducting research to study investment and financing options for Black female founders in Canada. Since they launched their company in 2019, they have supported over 306 Canadian Businesses and they have been featured in Flare, Forbes, and Refinery 29. Join us as we discuss their business, what holds women back in business, why we need to fund and support female entrepreneurs and what’s next for Pitch Better.
