Episode description

Paola Ramos is a host and correspondent for VICE and VICE News, who primarily covers issues affecting migrant and border communities. Before that, she worked on Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign as Deputy Director of Hispanic Media and served in the Obama administration. Paola joins Jennifer on the show to discuss her recent VICE report from a violent jungle region in South America that many migrants are forced to cross on their trek to the U.S., and she explains why women's stories specifically resonate with people. Paola also takes us along her personal journey to discover the Latinx identity, and what that means to 60 million people in the U.S. who belong to that community.
