Episode description

Su Solo is a host, curator of fun, and multimedia personality. She is currently one of the co-hosts of the nationally syndicated radio show "Young Joc and The Streetz Morning Takeover based in Atlanta. A first generation American, based in Atlanta, Su is commonly known as "Your Favorite Ethiopian." While Su is currently enjoying her success, she is very open about her journey. She selflessly shared her battle with depression and what she did to address it. Join us as we share a conversation with her around how she navigated her way through the male-dominated industry of hip hop and WON. In addition to Su's success as a media personality, she was also named as "Influencer of the Year" in Atlanta for her women's rights work and advocacy of women's safety in the Atlanta social scene. In our conversation we discuss why you must speak up, do the work, and get your mind moving! Su gave us the raw truth about what it really means to walk in your truth! The lesson: it isn't always the position you are in, it is how you play it.
