So Blake Lively has gone through it. Recently, she was promoting this movie that is about domestic violence, and she used this opportunity as a time to monetize her hair care and her alcohol line. Now this didn't land because it was very toned off and insensitive to domestic violence. She wasn't really talking about the issue the matter at hand, and instead people went to the movie thinking it was a rom com because she was saying, where your florals,

grab your girlfriends and go see this movie. And it's a very disturbing movie. So it really hit sideways, and it made me realize that what's going on is these classic celebrities post old Hollywood. Old Hollywood was individual actresses owned by so post old Hollywood actresses were just actresses. They're paid for movies, they're paid for TV. They might do a commercial, But having their own brands, which is something that I started by monetizing reality TV, is something newer.

So someone like Blake Lively is not savvy about marketing a haircare line, an alcohol line, and also messaging her core business, which is an actress and the subject matter

of this movie. In addition, she was marketing her husband's movie and they were cross promoting and making jokes about the fact that he had a movie launching the same weekend and that he had written I think a scene in her movie, and it just landed like a bag of shit, and I did a TikTok saying, if you try to fit twenty five pounds a shit in a five pound bag, the bag's going to explode and you'll

have shit all over you. I also said that these modern day actresses have archaic teams because the teams do not know how to navigate the truth tellers and truth detect of twenty twenty four on social media, which is king now. So Mark Cuban said it. He said, it's streamers for old people. Cable television is a dying breed. This is direct to consumer entertainment, when you are just

giving the content directly to the people. But these classic actresses who are groomed and measured and polished and prepped and questions are eliminated with reporters and they are handled and they have someone holding their hand on a red carpet. They are not prepared for the twenty twenty four modern day social media model. So Blake Lively has been getting dragged.

I had posted a video about it being unjustified, but to be honest, because I had spoken to one person who said very nice things, but to be perfectly honest, some other people did say that based on all these years, you know, it's some version of a come up. So it's just been a challenging time for a classic actress to be trying to maneuver the modern day era and entertainment.

This happened with Jennifer Lopez as well. Jennifer Lopez was launching Skincare, alcohol, two movies, a musical tour, an album, and a relationship and be a parent. So that's seventy five pounds of shit in a five pound bag and it blew up on her too. It's not for the weary, this modern day citizens journalism, like they will cut a bitch, they do not play and they go they're out for blood and it's a different world, like I don't. This was one of the rare things where it came into

the mainstream. So the mainstream media was reporting on this situation with Blake Lively and castmates had to weigh in, and you know, it just was the perfect storm. And someone I spoke to said, this is her turn you know, And these are women who have been celebrated for their fashion, for their beauty, for their perfection. I mean, Anna Wintour has had both of these women hosting the mech Gal the last couple of years. So these women have been at the very very top at the dais. I mean,

the pedestal couldn't be more elevated. And Blake Lively is on the cover of Vogue in September, and that will be interesting to see. I mean, maybe this is just affecting sales. Maybe her hair care is sold out, Maybe she sells more magazines than anyone's ever done, like Kim and Kanye, did you know, Because by this at the same time, disruption sells. So she may just be entering into the dark side. She may just not be like

perfect and pristine anymore. And now she's crossed over to the dark side where social media is about being flawed and authentic and connecting, being honest, accountable, you know, not just like hiding behind your team and the walls of the media being really forthcoming. It's like the social media revolution is here, and if you don't understand this new technology and the way things happen now, you'll be archaic.

You won't know how to operate in this world. If I were Blake Lively, immediately, I would have said, I messed up. I messed up. I'm human. I haven't been perfect in every interview in the past or the present. Maybe I've been under pressure. Maybe I tried to do too much. I want to be successful, I want to build a business, and I have all these different brands, and I was excited, and I don't like to leave

my kids that much. I had hair and makeup on and my glam on, and I've always been celebrated for fashion, and that's often what people want from me. So I led with that, and I should have led with the importance of this cause. And it's my bad. I made a mistake. And I'm going to donate all the profits from my profits meeting hers, from the hair care and the alcohol during this period of time to domestic violence

because i made a mistake. And I'm human, And you know what, I haven't always been great, but there's always the future, and I need to be a better example for my kids, and I'm going to do things differently from now on. This is a wake up call, and this is an opportunity for me to make a change. Love you all, thank you for supporting me. Sorry if I disappointed you. Sorry to myself, storry, my family started,

But I watched it like a like a car crash in slow motion, being like, oh God, from the beginning, they're going to come in, They're not gonna stop. This is what's going on with celebrities in twenty twenty four. For years, celebrities have given us the frosting. We've been the dummies that just get fed the sweet, easy to

digest frosting. About oh, Yay, we're in love. Look what he bought me. Thoughts and prayers, respect our privacy, or like, let me just show you this. This is what I'm doing. We have a perfect life. Here's my Instagram all that. That's when we get the frosting. People now in twenty twenty four, demand the cake. Who are you really? We don't want just the frosting. We don't even care if the cake doesn't taste as good as the frosting, but we want the whole cake. We want the cake, We

want the frosting. We want the whole bite. We want to know what it tastes like. We want to know who you are under the hood. We want to know what your paint job looks like. Outside of the car, we want to know what the interior smells like. We want to know how the radio works. We want to know how this thing drives. We want to know how this think and handle something when it's bad. Have this think and handle a storm. We want to know how

this car can handle an accident like we want. I went from one went from the cake to the car. But we want the whole thing. We want the cake and the frosting, and we want the whole car inside and out.
