So you know that I'm always talking about the Royals and Harry and Meghan, and I talk about their business decisions and their press decisions and their strategy, and that I think that they botch a lot. The one thing I don't want them to batch is their marriage, and a lot of people are talking about them headed for divorce and that he's hired a divorce attorney or met with Once you meet with the divorce attorney, it means the other partner can't meet with that same divorce attorney.
So a lot of people go and make the rounds with all the good ones so the other person can't get the good ones. First of all, that is vile, but also you don't want your partner to have a bad divorce attorney because that will mean that your divorce will take forever and be a whole also, and it takes long because it's a bunch of side shows and distractions.
But the bigger concept is I would never want anyone to experience a divorce, and I would feel extremely compassionate for Harry, particularly Harry if he were to divorce Meghan, because she got him back to the United States. I'm thinking of something I never thought about that no one has talked about. And I'm only thinking about this because I kind of know a little bit bit bit about this. First of all, if Harry and Meghan are divorcing, that
sounds horrible. It sounds excruciating, and it sounds more devastating for him who has alienated his family, left the royal life, and has left his country. And they have children. In any situation, having children in a divorce, it's wretched. In this particular situation, they have children and he is now not living in his home life. So this is what's crazy.
I never thought of this until right now. If in fact, Harry and Megan are headed for divorce, it would seem that she would have wanted to pull him out of the UK because if she were still living in the United this is insane. I can't believe I just thought of this right now. If she was still living in
the I'm freaking out. Okay, if you live in a house with your spouse and one of you leaves, they call that abandonment in some states where you will have a challenge getting custody and things won't work as well
for you because you've left the marital residence. Okay, and it happened in a situation in my divorce because there was a lot of stress and turmoil inside the home and I ended up living somewhere else and coming back to be in my apartment to be with my daughter and did it for her well being because it was a toxic environment. And the judge applauded me for that. They said, thank god someone had the wherewithal to do this. But the advice that attorneys give you is not to
leave the marital residence. It's sort of like you're raising a white flag and forfeiting and you're not like you are forfeiting kind of custody and the situation. So there are all these different rules that happen with divorce, like the first person to send out the letter and it goes through the US Postal Service. That's when you start quote unquote the event, the event meaning the dissolution of
the marriage, and whoever leave divorce. Attorneys advise you to not buy anything or make any big moves because that will be seen as you're doing something to sort of affect the financial settlement. And if the person leaves the house, it's thought of his abandonment. There's a bunch of different things that don't live in the logical world. They live in the legal world, and you have to make decisions on your own. Because judges are human. They have to
follow the law, but they're human. So if there's something toxic going on in the house and they have been made aware of it and they do believe it, they would understand logically why a human being would move out. So why I'm saying all of this is if Megan and Harry and this could be pure rumor, and I hope it is, I really genuinely hope it is. Like I do not think they've made smart business and pr decisions, But if they're getting divorced, he didn't know that they
were going to be getting divorced. If they're getting divorced, all of this would make sense. That she married him, she put off more than she could chew. They then had kids, and once you have kids, you start to be nervous because if they had kids and they were living in UK and raising the kids in the UK, she would never be able to take the kids out
of the UK. So maybe she got him to leave the UK and his family because she didn't think that she was long for that world and getting the kids to the United States, and getting citizenship would mean that a judge would probably say that the kids would have to stay in the United States. It's meaning that either Harry would have to stay or he'd become Kelly Rutherford, the mom and gossip girl who has to travel back and forth. She went through a divorce from a Frenchman.
He was living in her country in the US with the kids, and then he moved back to France and the kids now live with him. It was a whole, long drawn out divorce for many reasons, and she made many mistakes. But the point is an international marriage means an international divorce, and that is frightening, Like that's scary, and no one's talking about that, and I don't know
why because him meeting with divorce lawyers. Who gives a shit, him having two apartments that he's staying and if that's true, and it might all be false, who gives a shit them getting a divorce. I give a shit because it's terrible to go through and it's public. But having an international divorce is a massive I give a shit, Like that is insane and messy, and that's like international law.
That's a whole different deal. And they now live in the United States, so the case would be tried in the United States, and those kids would probably live in the United States. The fact that they're a royal descent and that Harry might want to ever move home is irrelevant because maybe you can't go home again, insaying I can't believe no one's talking about that.
I don't know why.
So social media can be great if used for good and not evil. I talked to you guys about Taylor Swift and how it felt like an elitist sport, and I said they should have a buy an expensive ticket and then an underprivileged person gets to go for free. And we had extra tickets, and we found a mom and a daughter, a daughter who had had leukemia, and she actually coincidentally had tried to go to Katie Perry years ago for her concert through Make a Wish and
her numbers were low. Her blood numbers were low, so she couldn't go, and we ended up sending her mom via car service and giving them a hotel room and sending her and her mom overnight to see Taylor Swift
in Boston. And it was like our little mini Make a Wish And I said that Tom, we should do the Tom's model, which is the buy one pair of shoes and give away one, and Tom's reached out to me, and so now we're going to be giving away Tailor Swift tickets to moms and daughters that really could use the morale boosts, could use a night of you know, smiling and sunshine and music. So I'm particularly excited about
that because it makes me feel happy. We launched our new YouTube series called bethany where I get into all kinds of of shenanigans and go to places like Red Lobster and Olive Garden and do cookie crawls and go to the Dollars store, but also meaningful things like give a mom and her daughter who's had leukemia tickets to Taylor Swift. So it's a show that has meaning. But why it has greater meaning for me is that I get to do it the way that I want to
do it. It is content to the people. It is cheot and record things that I find interesting and fun and fascinating and air them, you know, a week later and get the immediate reaction versus having to go to suits and bulk and do press tours and have like I said, men in suits make decisions on what they
think women are going to want to watch. So if you don't subscribe to YouTube, go to YouTube and subscribe to my YouTube channel because it's going to include a lot this podcast and the behind the scenes will be on and it's just basically a really fresh, fun, unique it's a television series effectively that I am producing on YouTube. So I'm pretty excited about it because it's it's pretty cool,
