Becoming a photographer almost didn't happen for Jim Gund. A chance meeting with Rich Clarkson at a basketball game changed his life for ever. After years at a newspaper Jim made a bold decision to become a freelancer and move to Atlanta. Jim would find himself photographing some of the greatest athletes in the world, from Deion Sanders, Tiger Woods and Gail Devers for Getty and Sports Illustrated.
