The negative anima or animus can live inside your dominant function, and either take control of it, or reverse the 'attitude' (ie.g. swap it from introverted to extroverted) - clinically, this manifests itself as someone 'changing' types under certain conditions, with the end result being damaged psychosocial relating. In this video, we discuss how this can happen, using the mother complex as an example.
