After discussing the few joshi shows still happening, Aaron and Taylor dive into the events that led to World Wonder Ring Stardom’s first show on January 23, 2011, including Yuzuki Aikawa’s training and debut, the roster’s precarious pro test performances, and a demonstration at an MMA show.
Then, they review that first show, Birth of Nova, which featured an excellent opening match, an 8-year-old, and the debuts of Mayu Iwatani, Arisa Hoshiki, and Yoshiko.
