Jerrod Maruyama is a freelance artist specializing in character concepts and design. He earned a B.S. degree from San Jose State University in Illustration. Jerrod grew up in San Jose, CA and currently resides in Sacramento, CA.Before becoming a freelance artist, Jerrod worked in the children's educational software field as an art director. He has served as an art director for several companies, including Computer Curriculum Corporation, SCORE!, Riverdeep and Kaplan.Since becoming a full-time freelance artist, Jerrod has worked for several clients including:Disney, Disney Japan, DreamWorks, Warner Bros., Facebook, Nickelodeon, Hasbro, Mattel, Clemenger BBDO, The Hollywood Reporter, and Huckleberry Toys to name a few.Jerrod's work is currently being shown in the WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney® District at The Disneyland® Resort (Anaheim, CA).
