Navajo Artist and Punk Rocker: Ryan Singer. Welcome to Jughead’s Basement Episode 36, subgenera, Lo Interviews with Hi Fi guests, today featuring an interview with Navajo artist and punk rocker, Ryan Singer. Ryan Singer currently resides and works out of his studio in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ryan allows many of his influences to affect his artwork including comic books Native art, pop art, and of course often created in his studio while listening to such bands as J Church, Black Flag, The Misfits, and even my band The Mopes. The first time I saw Ryan’s work online, I was impressed, and when The Mopes needed a new shirt design, Ryan was the first I asked.
