Episode description

We welcome Laura Reed and Laur Joamets, better known as 'Lore', a  genre-bending Nashville duo creating intense 'buzz' in Nashville.

Mixing  elements of metal, grunge, blues, and rock into raw, electric  Americana anthems Lore has been a long time coming. Originally from  South Africa, Laura Reed started songwriting as a street musician,  later collaborating with funk icons George Clinton and Karl Denson  before launching her solo career. Laur, whose pedigree  includes playing  with Sturgill Simpson and Drivin N Cryin, grew up in Estonia before  relocating to Tennessee.

In 2019 destiny brought Laura and Laur together, and the rest is history, LORE was born.

Join us as we learn the inside story of a duo that is starting to creatie waves in Rock N' Roll, from Laura and Laur themselves.

Lore’s debut album, co-produced by the band with Vance Powell (Jack  White, Chris Stapleton) and Dave Schools (Widespread Panic, Hard Working  Americans), is set for release in Fall 2022
