His sound effortlessly moves between intricate melodies and chunky basslines, often inspired by earthy tones from around the globe. Goos’ podcast, Journey, has been running for over six years, showcasing the finest in deep and organic house. Each episode highlights his versatile sound and features guest mixes from artists around the world. He also hosts a weekly residency on Pure Ibiza Radio UAE (94.7 FM) with his show Journey on Air, continuing to captivate audiences with his distinct blend of sounds. In 2018, Goos launched his own showcase, Journey on Tour, at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), presenting artists from around the globe and expanding the series across India. Over the years, he has shared the stage with a stellar lineup of international acts, including Acid Pauli, Viken Arman, Julian Jeweil, Olivier Giacomotto, Denis Horvat, Toto Chiavetta, Lane 8, Yotto, Ben Böhmer, Tinlicker, Kora, Eelke Kleijn, Sebastien Leger, and many others. He has also performed at major festivals like Echoes of Earth, Satellite Beachside, and Go:Madras, alongside local and international talent. Goos’s rising profile was recognized by Pioneer DJ, which named him one of the top ten emerging DJs worldwide for their Kuvo service. His music has been featured on prestigious platforms, including British Airways and Emirates Inflight Entertainment, Café Mambo Ibiza Radio, Everything Will Be OK (UK), Zenebona Radio, and The Deep Room. Born in Doha, Qatar, Goos was raised in a musically rich environment, thanks to his parents, who introduced him to rock legends like Led Zeppelin, The Doors, and Pink Floyd. This early exposure sparked a deep love for music, leading him to explore percussion instruments. His journey began with the Mridangam and expanded into drumming, giving him a profound understanding of rhythm. His passion for dance music was ignited by the sounds of Eric Prydz and Roger Sanchez, setting the stage for his career in electronic music. Driven by a love for storytelling through music, Goos continues to push the boundaries of deep and organic house, creating a space where rhythm and emotion meet in perfect harmony.
