Journey - May 29th, 21

We are following him. His example, his testimony, his life, they persecuted him. And Jesus says they will persecute you. The violent systems of the world that require a scapegoat.  Systems that objectify the other with violent intent, Jesus has exposed. He's overturned these systems, these principalities and powers of darkness that we find everywhere in our world, in our politics, in our religion, throughout all of human society, there it is. Jesus comes in overthrows the kingdoms of darkness and demonstrates God's kingdom of love, and offers his way instead, a way of peace and freedom. The advocate the Holy Spirit, will come and instruct us in His ways, and will continue to testify to our own heart. The truth of the way of love, the way of forgiveness, the way of peace Amen.
