BIG IDEA: God hears our cries to Him in our suffering, and He identifies with us in our suffering. This Psalm is a prophetic song foretelling of Jesus' suffering on the cross, and this Psalm of lament starts and ends with the very words that Jesus spoke on the cross before He died.
