Episode description

Eileen wasn’t a stranger to death growing up, but when her dad died from lung cancer in 2011, her world shattered. In her grief, she wrote her first book as a way to heal. When it became a success, she decided to make a book series about honoring those who have passed on, with a special focus on first responders and veterans. Her latest children’s book, ‘Lucky…Little Guy, BIG Mission’, is about a puppy that no one wanted because of his twisted leg, but one Army Veteran – who had TWO prosthetic legs – saw potential in him.

You can find Eileen Doyon on her website, Unforgettable Faces and Stories, on Twitter @facesandstories, on Facebook, and you purchase her book on her website and on Amazon.
