Carole Baskin, Big Cat Rescue
Episode description
Hey all you cool cats and kittens! Carole is an American animal rights activist and CEO of Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit animal sanctuary based in Florida. She has successfully rehabbed and released a number of bobcats and other native animals. In 2020, she was featured in the Netflix documentary show, Tiger King, and even though she was harassed in the months that followed, that didn’t stop Carole from continuing to advocate for the animals. Carole’s mission is to pass The Big Cat Public Safety Act, a federal bill to stop public handling of big cats and their cubs and ending the private possession of big cats.
You can find Carol on her website, Big Cat Rescue, on TikTok @carolebaskincat and @bigcatrescue, on Instagram @carolbaskincat, and on Facebook.
