C G Hanzlicek received his M.F.A. from the Writer’s Workshop at the University of Iowa and is the author of seven books of poetry. His collection Stars was the winner of a Devins award and his translation work has won him the Robert Payne Award from the Columbia University Translation Center. He teaches at California State University, Fresno.
