Dandelions always seem to find a way to return.
Michael Skau’s book of poems, Me and God was published through Wayne State College Press and two chapbooks of poems through Word Tech Editions. His poems have appeared in numerous periodicals and journals and he was awarded the 2013 William Kloefkorn Award for Excellence in Poetry. He has published articles on Jack Kerouac, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Richard Brautigan, Burroughs, and Corso, as well as books on Ferlinghetti and Corso. He is an emeritus professor in the Department of English at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where he taught for 37 years.
