Michael Skau’s poems have appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. Me and God was published by Wayne State College Press and two chapbooks by Word Tech Editions. He was awarded the 2013 William Kloefkorn Award for Excellence in Poetry. He has published articles on Jack Kerouac, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Richard Brautigan, Burroughs, and Corso, as well as books on Ferlinghetti and Corso. He is an emeritus professor in the Department of English at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where he taught for 37 years.
