Bob Hicok is the author of nine books of poetry, his most recent is Hold (Copper Canyon Press 2018.)  His work has received three Pushcart Prize nominations and his book The Legend of Light received a Felix Pollak Prize and was chosen as an American Library Association’s Booklist, Notable Book of the Year. Elegy Owed was shortlisted as a National Book Critics Circle Award. He has received two National Endowment of the Arts Fellowships and a Guggenheim Fellowship. He is a Professor of Creative Writing at Virginia Tech.
