We all know that feeling, you're trudging through the thick of it and every step feels like an uphill
battle. The only thing you can see ahead is an infinite stretch of road with no end in sight, you'd suddenly doubt your ability to make it to the finish line. But you know, you have to keep going. Somehow. When the going gets tough, it's important to find a source of motivation to keep you going. For some people, that means listening to pump up music or reading inspirational quotes, and for others, it means drawing on their faith or taking a more positive perspective on their
situation. But for many people, myself included, journaling is maybe the best way to work through difficult times. Putting your thoughts and feelings down on paper can help you to process them in a healthy way and develop a plan for moving forward. Today's journal party features five prompts that will help you to stay motivated when the going gets tough. Here's how it works. I'll give you a journal prompt and a groove and you just start writing. After a few minutes you'll hear a little
bell that sounds like this. And we'll move on to the next prompt. After a couple minutes you'll hear the bell again and we'll move on to the next prompt and we'll just keep going like that until we're finished. It's pretty simple pretty fun. So let's get it done. All righty get ready for your first prompt of the day. What is one thing I'm grateful for today? What is one thing I'm grateful for today? Just start writing? You okay, get ready for prompt number two. What is my biggest
challenge right now? And what are some ways to overcome it? What is my biggest challenge right now and what are some ways to overcome it? Just start writing? Right Moving on to prompt number three, what are three small steps I can take today to move closer to my goal? What are three small steps I can take today to move closer to my goal? Just start writing? Here comes prompt number four, who can I reach out to for support? Who can I reach out to for support Okay, here we go
last prompt of the day. What advice would I give to my best friend if they were in my shoes? What advice would I give to my best friend if they were in my shoes? All righty, folks, those are our prompts for the day. No matter how challenging life might be at times, remember that journaling can help you to get through even the toughest times.
