You're listening to kf I AM six on demand? Is it? Marcus Marcius? Marcius, Welcome to the Jesus Christ Show. How can I help you? Marcius? My question is, my wife and I are senior citizen Christians and we're trying to buy our first home and one of the gods going to answer our prayer. Well, so what is the prayer that you want a home? Yeah? Do you think God doesn't want you to have a home? I hope? So why would God not want you to have a home.
So we've been going through a lot of problems so far. So what's the problem right now? We're living that store to neighbors who are basically spoken marijuana and they don't listen. So we're trying to get out of it and get away from them and get into a home so they don't have to worry about them. And oh, because you're you're not in a separate home right now, you're in a closer proximity situation. Okay. So have you done the work with the money and your finances? Yeah? Okay, so you've
got the money and you're looking for a home. Really, your prayers should be to make the best decisions in the process to make decisions on that are based on what you can afford and all those things. But outside of that, why would God. Of course, if your desires to have a home and you work hard and you put aside the money, then get a home and them been working for so far, We've been trying. But you know, sometimes things don't come when you want it. That's the thing. That
is the thing. Now, nothing in life is free because God wants you to understand and appreciate and in this process, I mean there's going to be market things and stuff going on. But really when people ask about, you know, does God want me to have this? Really you have to look like, does God want me to have this job? Well? Is it something that is a sin to do? I mean, are you going to get into, you know, be a cameraman for a pornography? Well?
No, But if it's just morally neutral or good, then there's no reason to pray about it other than to make the best decision you can. And when it comes to a home, sure, God would love for you to be in a home and love for you to be stress free from things. Now, does that mean that people won't smoke pot near your house? No? Someone can move in at any time, and to understand that if you live in an area where it's legalized, people can do that in their home.
And it's unfortunate because unlike drinking, you know, people don't get contact highs from someone having a glass of wine. So I understand it's it's more troublesome, but absolutely, And the thing about hunting for a home is that it is really hunting. You're looking for, as realtors will tell you the eighty twenty rule, try and get it eighty percent that you want, and you know, if there's twenty percent still on the table that you don't get,
that's fine too. But look for something in a neighborhood that you think you can grow in. But if you have the money and you have a plan as to where you know you want to be, you say, okay, well this is where I want to be. Financially for us, you might find yourself pushed out of that a little bit depending on the market. But morally, of course, God wants you to have a home and to do that if that is your desire you it's for your family, it's for
the betterment of your family. But it doesn't mean that it won't take a little while to find it because you're you know, God wants you to have a family, but they don't. They don't start immediately. You go through your life learning about who you are. So know what you want, brother, know what you want, Know what is Thank you for your own important. You're gonna get that home, you know, and you're gonna sit there.
Oh you'll get it. You'll get it, and it will be and you're gonna laugh about it too, because you're gonna maybe go buy houses that you think are your heart's desire. And then when you find the one that is right, just like you two found each other, you're gonna knows. You're gonna know, and you're gonna laugh, and God's gonna smile and you're gonna go, ah, Okay, this is what we were waiting for. Got it. It's better to wait for the right thing that God has for
you or than to just take whatever. You're worth more than that. Your wife is worth more than that, your family is worth more than that. Be patient, keep looking, have that lists of wants for you and your bride, and get as close to that as you can. I know it gets difficult, I really do. When you're looking for something and there's no reason for you not to have it. Of course, God wants that for you. But if you want to get something that really suits or family.
You know, you don't want to shoe. You want a shoe to fit you that's comfortable. And sometimes that takes a little more and it will be worth it and you will get that home. You will get that home and it will come together. But sometimes it just takes a little longer, you
know, when it comes to prayer and connection. Most of the time, when you look at the things that God wants for you, that's for you to live a life using your gifts and abilities along the lines of excellence to be helpful for others, to be helpful for you, to the glory of God. Most things will fall into that category. That is your meaning of life as a believer, and most things are going to fit into that category.
You know, having a car, to be able to get you from point A to point B, to be able to travel, no matter how small that is, to the next city or town, to be able to educate yourself, to have a home and security of any kind. Some people don't want to buy a home, and that's fine, you know, renting it has its pluses and allows people a different lifestyle or they don't need the yard or whatever. You make the decisions as to what is for you and
your family, and God is thumbs up on that. However, there's always something that God wants to teach you, and often patience is a part of that. So people say, well, God's not answering my prayer. I said, well, you might have not gotten a clear yes or a clear no, and that in most lines of thinking becomes await or maybe, but usually it's not no. It's like, just be patient and it will be
worth it. It will be worth it because many people try and rush things and then they end up getting something that's not right, but it will be right. Just take your time. Bill, Welcome to the Jesus Christ Show. Well, good morning. Either you already talked to Hit about this. Back to Genesis one, Let's create man in our own image may kind of our own image. If I think about that, it seems to imply that on day one of Adam's life he was actually an adult, let's say,
twenty five years old, Which does that make sense? Well? Sure, okay, okay, and the same there are different ages. There are different ages that people would put at them that. But that's a fair assumption. Okay, just assume that, just say twenty five. Just pick an age. So him, on day one he was actually appeared to be twenty five. On day one, Eve appeared to be let's say twenty five. Take
it back a day to all the animals. You know, there's always a thing which came first, the chicken to be able to head be the chicken. So on day one of all the first animals lives, they were again created with maturity. Let's use that word. Let's say a cow may have been one day old, but in essence it was like ten years old,
because that would have been mature for a cow whatever like them. And if that's true, then if we move back a couple of days to all the plants, it would make sense that instead of creating a oak tree that's just a little bit sackling, like one inch high, God would have created a full grown three I'll say fifty years. So if on day one of every creation, God created everything with maturity on day one, by extension, it
would make sense that on day one that God actually created the earth. The earth was only one day old, but in essence the maturity of that kind of a sphere may have been a million years old, And continuing back with the universe, on day one, where the universe was created, it could have actually been one day old, but it had a maturity of say thirteen billion. So when people ask me the thing, how can old Earth and young Earth be true? I tend to use that scenario. Is that theologically
sound? Well, theologically there is. There is no specifics. There's nothing said about the age of the Earth in scripture, So saying theologically sound,
I would say, is it against anything in scripture? No, And it's actually quite reasonable billed to say if you're going to you know, and they Walt Disney was famous for when creating Disneyland for going around to save money and also to reuse to going around all throughout southern California looking for older trees, and he would go up to people's houses and say, oh, you're getting rid of that tree? Can we take it? And would take it so
that the park on day one would look grown. So it makes total sense to say, well, you're not going to start everything at you know, the little tiny seed. Although if that happened, it would still it would it could still possibly tie into your theory, because it would take the time to grow. Even though day is the term yawn is used, there's more to it than that. I think that's reasonable. What's not reasonable is for people to think, based on genealogy that the Earth is six thousand years old.
That's not fair. It's not intellectually fair, it's not biblically fair. But yes, I love the way you think that if things were already matured at that age, they would have the signs of maturity without having the actual time or age to become that mature. Therefore, at any time, the Earth, the universe, everything could be aged by necessity rather than by time.
I think that's a fair assumption the six thousand years old. This program has never adhered to the six thousand years old age and thinks that it's a horrible way to gauge the age by looking through genealogy in the Bible. Too much to be assumed there. And you know what happens when you assume Richard, welcome to the Jesus Christ Show. Thank you my pleasure. How can I help you? One question I have for you. You know, the Bible talks about the end of days, and the Bible talks about when Jesus
Christ is coming back to this earth. Is he going to are you going to have like a rapture, rapture people, rapture the whole church up into heaven, or how's that going to work. Well, there's different theories and beliefs about how it's going to take place, what it's going to be like. Scripture says a couple of things. When it comes to those that pass, it's appointed for man to die once and then the judgment. It also says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord,
and so these things have immediacy to them. But as far as the process that will come in the end times, there are multiple theories. And the reason why there's multiple theories is that it's not clear exactly and that it focuses on the fact that no man shall know the day nor the hour, so you'll know the season. But everybody thinks it's everybody thinks that their generation is the one that has it the worst, and therefore the second Coming should take
place. But the reality is it won't be like anything. It'll be beyond your expectations, and things will be circling the bowl in a way that you've never seen before. Aren't they starting to circle the bowl and out? Because you've got people robbing shops and stories of merchandise like I heard that Nordstrums had a robbery yesterday and they got away with thousands of dollars worth of items and
an another store did too. Sure, these for those listening across the country, these are stores in the Los Angeles area that we're dealing with that now others have throughout the country as well. However, you don't think there have been times throughout history that there was rape and theft and murder and mayhem. Oh, sure there have. Sure it's only again worse, I think,
don't you. Well, No, there's been times where everybody assumes that what their experience is the worst, and in other parts of the world it may be better, or in other parts of the United States when it comes to you, Richard might be doing better. So people always assume that whatever is
happening. You know, everybody's the star of their own movie, Richard, So you know, so you're going to see whatever is happening around you, and also you're going to consume it differently because social media and the news cycle as much tighter than ever before. And it doesn't mean that things aren't going to heck in a handbasket. However, there is good stuff too, you know, to to focus on only those things, Richard, Yes, I agree it looks dire, but again, nothing surprises God. It's not like
God is is saying, wow, did not see that coming? Who that? Wow? I've seen some things, but that is some things. This is a season. This is a season of of people, and you can you can blame the politicians, and sometimes you should. You can blame politicians, but really, without laws, without any laws, good people should still do good things. Right, So politicians can say you can steal everything, we're just not going to prosecute, and good people still don't steal. They're
not going out there and stealing. This is a problem of people telling themselves it's okay to steal, people feeling entitled. At at the base, the root of every single sin is entitled men people entitled to something they're not entitled to. That's where it comes from. And I think politicians and people like to put it on things, Well it's this thing, or it's this weapon, or it's this opportunity or it's that. No, it's bad, it's
people wanting to do bad things. At the heart of every problem, the heart of every crime, the heart of every war is not religion, as people will tell you. You can go back through the entirety of history. It is not religion. There is only one constant in all crime, all war, all hate, and that is humanity. Humans doing what they want instead of what they should be doing. Humans being selfish, greedy. These things are at the heart of all of it. And until that's understood that
people won't get it. Yes, political decisions matter, they create problems. Not having a secure justice system meaning the cops are accountable, meaning the justice system itself, the DA's everybody being accountable, individuals being accountable. All those things do matter. But at the heart of it, it's people doing bad instead of good. So does it get worse at times? Yeah. Throughout history there's been ebb and flows, and a lot of that ties into faith.
In the United States, faith is more placed on politics, it's placed on city, faith is placed on ideology. It's just not placed in God. And when that happens, absolutely you're going to have issues. Absolutely you're going to have chaos. Absolutely you're going to have anarchy. But it starts with the person, not the laws. That's why people break laws. They
don't care. And making people care about each other, making people care about doing the right thing, that's more important than any law, any rule, any alarm system. And people are separating themselves more than ever, and with that comes more problems. Dave, Welcome to the Jesus Christ Show. Jesus, thanks for taking my call. I've prayed for the answer to this question for a long time. I'm a forty seven year old, married, gay
alcoholic. You saved me four years ago through the Halls of Alcoholics Anonymous, and through through doing the steps, I've grown my relationship with you to a point I never thought was possible to where I see blessings falling out of the sky every day for what you do for me. My question for you is, as a practicing homosexual, how does that affect my relationship with you? Jesus. Oh. First of all, what a story, Dave, and God bless you for taking the steps to get rid of the demon that is
alcoholism and being in trapped by that and taking those steps. That is a wonderful story to hear that you pulled yourself through that With God. Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. Absolutely. Do you believe that Christ died on that cross for all sins of all people? Yes? Do you believe that the blood on that cross is more powerful than any sin? Yes. The Bible talks about the unpardonable sin, and the unpardonable sin is rejecting
God. That can't be undone. If you reject God, don't ask for forgiveness, don't connect with God. That's it. There's nothing you can do. If you are driving a car towards a cliff and there's people lining the road telling you there's a cliff, and you ignore it and fly off that cliff, then the decisions made you've rejected. You have not rejected. Now the secondary question becomes, well, if homosexuality is a sin and you are living in that sin and doing that sin, then it's a state of rebellion.
Then you have to ask the other question, Well, what about everybody else? Their sin does not stop yet. Scripture says that you under the blood on the cross are or white as snow, the purity coming from God, not from Dave. Because Dave can't do it, you'll never earn yourself into heaven. And yeah, well, there's a lot of people try and it's interesting how everybody gives God the credit and Christ you died on the cross,
and then they ignore it. There is nothing in scripture in its context that says that God doesn't love you and that you will not be in heaven with God because the unpardonable sin is not homosexuality. So the frustration and confusion comes from stuff that's been taught over and over again. You have confusion in there. If you look at some verses, its talks about a man laying with a man, okay, So being a lesbian's okay. So there's a
lot of confusion and understand ending as to what's taking place. Is it prostitution, male prostitution? Is it aggression? The use of the lack of passion becoming a lust? Is it? There's a lot more to scripture, and there's a lot of things in the category of idolatry and all these things that are done on a daily basis that people push aside, whether it's being a gossip or being a glutton or anything that they push aside and they put the
weight on you. Dave and others in the community that have different orientations and complexities or pieces on the spectrum of who people are and they want, and it's scares them and they try and shuffle that into scripture and it's unfortunate. But not all churches are like that. And it's not about being liberal or conservative. It's about being faithful to scripture and to the love of God. So do you reject God, Dave, No, sir, are you committing
the unpardonable sin? No, You're not rejecting God. Then then go in peace and continue to connect with your God, praying and acting for guidance. Kf I am six on demand
