Poor soldiers, suffering voices now left on the streets

Remember when we used to think and read?
Between the lines you'll find the authorities
Will try to hide the truth

That we are One, the planet's sons to Love
Instead they'd rather see us use Her up,
Fly to Mars and do it again, will it ever end?!

All that I'm saying is the machine is afraid
Of the ways that we might behave

They subdue us with entertainment and cars to drive
To chase our slice of the pie
Confusion, why do we do this?
The jobs we fake, spending more than we make
