If you could ask God for anything what would it be? David said that he would ask to, "Dwell in His house and inquire in His temple." God called David a man after His heart. In spite of everything he went through his passion for God did not waiver.
God is the author and finisher of our story. The bible tells us that our life is like a vapor. We are here on earth for a short time then we are gone. Have you ever felt like it's too late for you to reach your full potential? God is not finished with us. As long as we are still breathing, do not lose faith. What God has for you is for you!
We all experience obstacles in our lives. How you confront and overcome them is what's important. Many times David had to adapt and overcome. Never forget your victory has been bought and paid for with the blood of Jesus Christ. If you ever find yourself knocked down or off track, you can get back on track because God IS with you. It's His good pleasure to bring you through the fire like pure gold.
The work God did on the cross is irreversible. From the Sunday morning He arose until this very day; there is an open invitation to all humanity. There is room at the foot of the cross for you. Because He lives we can keep going and keep the faith.
As we bring this series to a close, Jude sends us out on a high note. After explaining to the church what we need to lookout for and how our enemies have already put themselves in position all around us in the church. Jude is short and to the point. He turns our focus back to building up ourselves and our relationship with God. This closing doxology should be in the De Young Museum.
Thank you Jesus for episode 50! In Jude's letter to the church, He warns us about ungodliness, false teachers who boast about themselves and flatter others to gain an opportunity for advantage over them. The good news is we are not without hope! We speak life.
The saga continues as we dive deeper into the book of Jude. We read more about these rebellious wolves in sheep's clothes who despise God's legitimate church leaders. Beware of anyone who profess to be a follower of Christ but is involved in any type of rebellion open or in secret. When Jesus calls us to minister, it is not a popularity contest. So let's walk in His righteousness and not our own.
We begin a three part series in the book of Jude. He warns us against false prophets and instructs us to defend the faith. As any good evangelist should, he reminds us of what we already know. Then tells us again. Buckle your seat belts we are going for a ride through Jude.
God is love and He loves everyone. At the same time He hates sin. We must never fall into the trap that there are separate rules for the people of God or "church folks", we must abide by the word of God too. The Apostle Paul warned Timothy of these wolves in sheep's clothing. Men who are covetous, boasters, unthankful and unholy. Still they testify they love God but their hearts are far from God. That's why we follow Jesus Christ. He is the only true living God.
We live in a world of constant change. Some say if you don't adapt, you will be left behind. From laws to global warming to technology, we must stay informed and up to date. Its a great to know that the God we serve does not change. He still have plans for us from the beginning. Plans to bring sinners to repentance and to use His church as a vehicle to get them there.
The foundation our Lord laid for us is solid. Jesus paid a debt we could not pay. Salvation is a gift receive it and walk in it. He is the Rock of y salvation oh yes He is!
Do you enjoy meeting new people? What about showing humility and rebuilding old relationships that have been fractured? One day when Jesus was out ministering the question was asked, "Who is my neighbor?" His answer was profound and thought provoking. Jesus went on to explain that anyone we encounter should be regarded as our neighbor.
Confrontation is not always a bad thing. There are situations in all of our lives that if not dealt with swiftly, it will compound with penalties and heartache. My mother used to say, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." How much more important is God's business? On this episode we attempt a deep dive into our individual motivations. We ask ourselves the question, are we being led by God or man's rules and tradition?
Discipline is an attribute most of us admire and strive to maintain. Jesus came to earth and lived a sinless life to be a pure sacrifice for us. Whenever you're in a foreign land, you need a guide to show you around and keep you safe. We are on a pilgrimage through this life on our way to glory; let Jesus lead you.
Test and trails make us stronger. While no one is exempt from bad days or unforeseen difficulties, Christians are specifically targeted by satan very early in our walk with Jesus. The goal is to stop us from reaching our full potential. Don't be disappointed or disengaged as God has given you the victory. Receive it and walk in it.

We are living in the last days and our adversary (the devil) is seeking whom he may devour. These attacks are intensified and deliberate. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has made a perfect way of escape for us. Let's gaze into God's holy looking glass and allow Him to show us ourselves. Then we must choose to walk in His perfect law of liberty pure, undefiled and unspotted from the world.
Things people will do for the perception of power will astonish you. Mankind has been known to lie, cheat and steal all to say, "I'm in charge, I have the power." Real power and authority goes beyond our finite human strength. Power belongs to God and He desires to show Himself mighty in your life. Activate your faith. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
Despite your circumstance give thanks to our God because He is good. Things doesn't always feel or look good either. Remember God has not forgotten about you. God wants us to be content in whatever state we are in. Make a declaration to yourself that, "I Am Blessed!" Let's talk about giving thanks.
In today's podcast Jesus is asking all of us who do you say that I am? This is a question for all time. Think about it, no matter how we testify or give of our time and resources; salvation is a matter of the heart. Jesus is saying, allow me to penetrate your heart. As a result we will have a greater understanding of who He is.

These little spiritual foxes have evil intentions to drive a wedge between us and our Lord. Don't let it happen. Guard against these little foxes that spoil the vine.
A good shepherd makes sure his sheep has whatever they need. Jesus Christ is our good shepherd our Jehovah-Jireh our provider. Let God be your guide through this hectic journey we call life. He knows all about you and He cares for you, He loves you.

God provides us with six spiritual pieces of armour. To strengthen and protect us and ultimately give us the victory in all spiritual warfare. Each piece is essential and God's word (The Bible) tells us how to put them on and use them. Don't go into battle without your armour. Don't go to sleep without your armour!
