I would argue that this is Heinlein's most problematic work. Sixth Column is a horribly racist story, with a threadbare plot, and a lot of bullshittium to make everything kind of hold together.

The Cat Who Walks Through Walls, published in 1985 is the second to last Heinlein novel. It's a rough read, and this podcast explores the roughness. This is my review of Starman Jones (1953) the second book in the Heinlein marathon. You'll notice that I had to edit in "max" in place of "sam" a few times because for some reason I couldn't keep those two character's names straight. Hope it isn't too distracting.

I am including all of their work in this after my introduction so that the excellent production and hard work they put into it is not lost. This is one of my favorite of the Union Dues stories because of the tie to Mighty Joe Young and how Tam has his revelation that family isn't necessarily tied to who birthed you at just the right moment.
