Starmer unveils mandatory digital ID cards

And, Sir Keir Starmer's used his keynote speech at today’s Global Progress Action Summit to criticise the far-right and announce the introduction of mandatory digital ID cards. He called out lies spread by Donald Trump and Nigel Farage, while picking out illegal immigration as the main problem the UK currently faces. Is he right? And, will ID cards change anything?
