Glückliche Skatoberfest! Back in August I complained on air about the frequency in which ska is brought up on the show. Friend and frequent guest Marty DeRosa suggested I embrace the phenomenon and dedicate a full month to the genre, thus Skatoberfest was born. All October long, I'll be releasing a special Skatoberfest themed episode, each and every Thursday, along with the usual Tuesday drops. I'm really gonna try my best to play some brilliant ska music because it's out there and it doesn't deserve the wrath it so commonly receives, but to be fair, there's gonna be some crap too. We gotta get around to the 90s at some point. In this first installment, Marty joins me as we dig into the music of Prince Buster and Jamaican super group The Wailers.
