Survivors

The message of the Spirit of Jesus to the church in Philadelphia in Revelation 3:7-13 is a message to survivors, to people who endured and held on to their faith in Jesus, despite the physical reality of earthquakes and aftershocks in their region. To those who survive, who hold on, there is the promise of a permanent and unshakable home in God's presence. This message is encouraging in its application to believers throughout history and to we who believe today.
