Episode description

Christmas is the time where we celebrate the incarnation. The mind-blowing reality that Jesus would leave his home to step into human homelessness. As a human being Jesus felt the longing to feel, safe, valued and welcomed. As a child, he was born into homeless poverty. As a boy he lived as a homeless exile in Egypt. In his hometown of Nazareth, he faced some of his strongest rejection and persecution. Even his own family, his mother and brothers rejected him and thought he had lost his mind. His own brothers conspired to take his life. Jesus created a family by opening heaven as our home. Creating a place for everyone who wants to belong to the family of God.
