We found CFCF in a trailer backstage at Palomosa Festival in Montreal. Don't worry, it was his trailer. He warmly invited us in to speak about his soon to be released album, L.U.V.
After encapsulating different energies as sound for over a decade and 5 years after gifting us Memoryland, CFCF returns with something entirely new he's been ambitiously waiting to make. With more collaborations than ever (including Cecile Believe!! icon!!), this is perhaps a turning point in his career and I am so glad I could be here for it.
We talk about Montreal's music scene, finding his identity, choosing life, avoiding cliches, and much much more.
